"Filled her latest album with children's poetry songs, her concert started with almost powerpoint-like lectureship. The music was diverse, interesting yet confusing details of the authors in the displacement of music with verbosity. The rowdy ovation guaranteed an encore of her classic fare, and the concert took off. As she did a 90 minute encore of the tunes we wanted to hear, she did not disappoint, ending the concert with Thank you, thank you. Complemented her for the gentler music, her acoustic band of eight seemed deficient when the rockers came out and memories of 10K maniacs were just memories. Her earthmother dance was fun as always, and her ad libbing was more appealing than her more scripted lecture mode. Her haunting and compelling voice remains. Thank you, thank you."
